The Frontend Engineer at Razorpay is responsible for building solid frontend foundations, infrastructure, and high-quality user experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Implement and maintain frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
Collaborate with designers to convert wireframes and mockups into functional UI components.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for speed and scalability.
Write clean, modular and maintainable code following best practices.
Perform testing and debugging of UI components.
Participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
Work with backend engineers to integrate frontend interfaces with server-side logic and APIs.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on project requirements.
Stay updated with frontend technologies and best practices.
Champion usability and accessibility according to web accessibility guidelines such as WCAG.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in a popular JavaScript framework such as React, Ember, Angular or Backbone.
Experience with frontend tools such as SASS/Stylus, Jade, Grunt/Gulp, etc.
Good understanding of REST APIs.
Ability to build features from scratch and drive them to completion.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
