Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: September 8, 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Refund Policy") explains the terms applicable to free and paid services provided by JobOrbital.com ("JobOrbital," "we," "us," or "our").

JobOrbital is a global online employment platform that provides services to employers, recruiters, jobseekers, candidates, and other users, including free and paid employment-related features.

By purchasing any paid service from JobOrbital, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Free and Paid Services

JobOrbital provides both free and paid services.

The availability of particular services may vary depending on the user's account type, location, Platform features, and applicable plans.

Free services may include:

For Employers:

  • Employer account registration.
  • Free job posting.
  • Receiving job applications.
  • Managing job postings.
  • Other free employer features made available by JobOrbital.

For Jobseekers:

  • Free account registration.
  • Job searching.
  • Viewing available job listings.
  • Uploading a CV/resume.
  • Creating a candidate profile.
  • Applying for jobs.
  • Other free jobseeker features made available by JobOrbital.

JobOrbital may introduce additional free features or modify existing free features from time to time.

Because free services do not involve a payment, no refund applies to free services.

2. Paid Services

JobOrbital may offer optional paid services, packages, subscriptions, or premium features to employers, recruiters, jobseekers, or other users.

Paid services may include, depending on the services offered by JobOrbital:

  • CV/resume access packages.
  • Premium candidate access.
  • Employer subscription packages.
  • Premium recruitment features.
  • Additional employer tools.
  • Premium jobseeker services.
  • Additional Platform functionality.
  • Other paid services introduced by JobOrbital.

The specific features, price, duration, and conditions of a paid service will be displayed to the customer before purchase.

3. All Paid Services Are Non-Refundable

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all payments made for JobOrbital paid services are non-refundable.

Once a customer purchases a paid service, package, subscription, access plan, or other premium feature, the payment will not ordinarily be refunded.

This applies regardless of whether the customer:

  • Uses the service fully.
  • Uses the service partially.
  • Does not use the service.
  • Changes their mind.
  • No longer needs the service.
  • Does not receive the expected results.
  • Does not find a suitable candidate.
  • Does not find a suitable job.
  • Does not receive applications.
  • Does not receive interviews.
  • Does not receive a job offer.
  • Does not hire a candidate.
  • Does not obtain employment.

By purchasing a paid service, you acknowledge that the service is non-refundable.

4. Free Job Posting for Employers

JobOrbital may provide employers with the ability to post jobs free of charge.

Free job posting does not involve a payment and therefore does not create any refund obligation.

JobOrbital does not guarantee that a free job posting will result in:

  • Applications.
  • Qualified candidates.
  • Interviews.
  • Hiring.
  • A specific number of views.
  • A specific number of applications.
  • Any particular recruitment outcome.

Employers are responsible for evaluating candidates independently.

5. Paid CV / Resume Access Packages

JobOrbital may offer employers or recruiters paid packages that provide access to CVs, resumes, candidate profiles, or other recruitment-related information.

Where a customer purchases such a package:

The payment is non-refundable unless a refund is required by applicable law.

This applies even if:

  • The customer does not find a suitable candidate.
  • The customer does not contact any candidate.
  • The customer accesses fewer CVs than expected.
  • The customer does not use the entire package.
  • The customer fills the position through another source.
  • The customer no longer needs candidates.
  • The customer decides to stop recruiting.

Customers should carefully review the package details, price, access limits, duration, and included features before purchasing.

6. Jobseeker Services

JobOrbital provides jobseekers with free access to certain employment features, which may include:

  • Creating an account.
  • Creating a candidate profile.
  • Uploading a CV/resume.
  • Searching for jobs.
  • Viewing job listings.
  • Applying for jobs.
  • Communicating with employers where available.

JobOrbital may also introduce optional paid services for jobseekers.

If a jobseeker voluntarily purchases a paid JobOrbital service:

the payment is non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Using the free JobOrbital services does not require a payment and therefore does not qualify for a refund.

7. Paid Services Do Not Guarantee Results

JobOrbital provides technology and services that facilitate connections between employers and jobseekers.

We do not guarantee any specific outcome from a paid service.

For employers, we do not guarantee:

  • A specific number of candidates.
  • Qualified candidates.
  • Interviews.
  • Candidate responses.
  • Successful hiring.
  • A particular recruitment result.

For jobseekers, we do not guarantee:

  • Employment.
  • Interviews.
  • Job offers.
  • Employer responses.
  • A particular salary.
  • A particular number of applications.
  • Successful recruitment.

Failure to achieve a desired employment or recruitment outcome does not create a right to a refund.

8. Cancellation of Paid Subscriptions

Where JobOrbital offers recurring subscriptions, customers may cancel their subscription using the cancellation method provided by JobOrbital.

Cancellation generally means that future subscription renewals will be stopped.

However:

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund of amounts already paid.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • The customer may continue to access eligible services until the end of the current paid period.
  • The current billing period will not ordinarily be refunded.
  • Unused subscription time will not ordinarily be converted into cash.
  • Unused credits or access may not be transferable.

9. Cancellation of Unused Paid Services

A customer may decide not to use a paid service after purchasing it.

However, simply not using a paid service does not create a refund entitlement.

For example, a refund will generally not be provided because:

  • You purchased a CV access package but did not use it.
  • You purchased a premium feature but did not use it.
  • You purchased a subscription but did not log in.
  • You changed your business strategy.
  • You stopped recruiting.
  • You found employment elsewhere.
  • You no longer require the service.

The customer is responsible for reviewing the service before completing the purchase.

10. Incorrect or Accidental Purchases

Customers should carefully review their order before completing payment.

If a customer accidentally purchases a paid service, package, or subscription, the transaction will generally remain non-refundable.

However, JobOrbital may review genuine billing or technical errors on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Duplicate Payments

If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same transaction, please contact JobOrbital as soon as possible.

We may investigate the transaction.

If a duplicate charge is confirmed to have resulted from a genuine technical or billing error, JobOrbital may correct the error or issue an appropriate refund or credit.

12. Technical Problems

JobOrbital works to maintain the availability and functionality of its Platform.

If you experience a genuine technical issue that prevents you from accessing a paid service, please contact JobOrbital promptly.

We may investigate the issue and, depending on the circumstances, may provide an appropriate remedy such as:

  • Restoring access.
  • Extending the service period.
  • Replacing the affected service.
  • Providing account credit.
  • Providing another reasonable solution.

A temporary technical issue does not automatically create a right to a refund.

13. Job Posting Removal

JobOrbital may remove, restrict, or suspend a job posting if it violates:

  • Our Terms and Conditions.
  • Job Posting Guidelines.
  • Applicable laws.
  • Platform rules.
  • Safety requirements.

Removal of a job posting does not automatically create a refund entitlement, particularly where the posting was removed because of a violation by the employer or recruiter.

Where applicable law requires otherwise, such legal rights will apply.

14. Account Suspension or Termination

JobOrbital may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that a user has:

  • Violated our Terms and Conditions.
  • Engaged in fraud.
  • Posted misleading or fraudulent content.
  • Abused other users.
  • Misused Platform features.
  • Attempted unauthorized access.
  • Violated applicable law.
  • Created a security or safety risk.

Where permitted by applicable law, suspension or termination resulting from a user's violation of our Terms does not create an automatic right to a refund for unused paid services.

15. Fraudulent or Prohibited Use

JobOrbital reserves the right to investigate transactions and accounts associated with suspected:

  • Fraud.
  • Payment abuse.
  • Unauthorized activity.
  • Fake accounts.
  • Misleading information.
  • Scam activity.
  • Prohibited content.
  • Abuse of promotional offers.

Where appropriate, JobOrbital may suspend or terminate access and cooperate with payment providers or relevant authorities.

Refunds for accounts involved in fraudulent or prohibited activity will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

16. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

JobOrbital may not directly process or store all payment information.

Payment providers may have their own:

  • Terms.
  • Privacy policies.
  • Processing procedures.
  • Currency conversion rules.
  • Dispute procedures.

Where a payment has successfully been processed for a JobOrbital service, the transaction remains subject to this Refund Policy.

17. Refunds Required by Applicable Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to remove, restrict, or override any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, consumer, or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If applicable law gives you a mandatory right to cancel a purchase or obtain a refund, JobOrbital will comply with the applicable legal requirements.

The non-refundable provisions in this Policy are therefore subject to mandatory consumer and other legal protections that may apply to you.

18. Refund Request

Although JobOrbital's paid services are generally non-refundable, users who believe they have a valid refund claim under applicable law or believe they were incorrectly charged may contact us.

A refund request should include:

  • Account email address.
  • Order/transaction reference.
  • Date of transaction.
  • Name of purchased service.
  • Reason for the request.
  • Relevant supporting information.

Do not send your password, CVV, full payment-card number, or other sensitive authentication information with a refund request.

19. Review of Refund Requests

Where a refund request is received, JobOrbital may review:

  • The transaction.
  • The service purchased.
  • Payment status.
  • Service activation.
  • Account activity.
  • Technical issues.
  • Billing records.
  • Applicable terms.
  • Applicable law.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

20. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the refund to appear may depend on:

  • Payment processor.
  • Bank.
  • Card issuer.
  • Payment method.
  • Country.
  • Currency.

JobOrbital is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or financial institutions.

21. Promotional Credits and Free Trials

JobOrbital may occasionally provide:

  • Promotional credits.
  • Discount codes.
  • Free trials.
  • Complimentary access.
  • Promotional services.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotional credits and free services:

  • Have no cash value.
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Cannot be transferred.
  • May expire.
  • May be subject to additional conditions.

If a user upgrades from a free service to a paid service, the paid service becomes subject to this Refund Policy.

22. Price Changes

JobOrbital may change the pricing of its paid services from time to time.

Any applicable price will be displayed before purchase.

Changes in pricing will not ordinarily affect transactions that have already been completed, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

23. Taxes and Payment Charges

Depending on the customer's location, applicable taxes, duties, payment-processing fees, or other charges may apply.

Currency conversion and foreign transaction fees may be imposed by banks or payment providers.

JobOrbital is generally not responsible for fees charged independently by a customer's bank or payment provider.

24. No Refund for Employment or Recruitment Outcomes

JobOrbital is a platform and does not control decisions made by employers, recruiters, jobseekers, or candidates.

Therefore, JobOrbital does not provide refunds because:

  • An employer did not hire a candidate.
  • A candidate did not accept a job.
  • An employer received no suitable candidates.
  • A jobseeker did not receive an interview.
  • A jobseeker did not receive an offer.
  • An employer did not receive enough applications.
  • A candidate withdrew from recruitment.
  • A user did not receive the expected results.

Employment outcomes are not guaranteed and are not grounds for a refund.

25. Free Services May Change

JobOrbital may modify, add, restrict, or discontinue free features at any time, subject to applicable law.

Examples include:

  • Free job posting limits.
  • Free CV upload functionality.
  • Free job applications.
  • Free employer tools.
  • Free candidate features.

Changes to free services do not create a refund entitlement because no payment was made for those free services.

26. Paid Service Availability

JobOrbital will make reasonable efforts to provide purchased paid services as described at the time of purchase.

However, temporary interruptions may occur due to:

  • Maintenance.
  • Technical problems.
  • Security incidents.
  • Internet disruptions.
  • Third-party service failures.
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a significant failure prevents delivery of a paid service, JobOrbital may provide an appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

27. Force Majeure

JobOrbital will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters.
  • War.
  • Government action.
  • Internet infrastructure failures.
  • Telecommunications failures.
  • Major security incidents.
  • Power outages.
  • Third-party service failures.
  • Other extraordinary circumstances.

Where appropriate, JobOrbital may provide a reasonable alternative or service extension.

28. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, unauthorized, or the result of a technical error, we encourage you to contact JobOrbital before initiating a payment dispute.

We will review legitimate billing concerns.

However, nothing in this Policy prevents a user from exercising rights available under applicable law or through their payment provider.

29. Changes to This Refund Policy

JobOrbital may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

Updates may be made because of:

  • New services.
  • Changes to Platform features.
  • Changes in pricing.
  • Changes in payment systems.
  • Changes in business practices.
  • Changes in applicable laws.

The latest version will be published on this page with the updated "Last Updated" date.
